Caution: Please Don't Over Stretch

Stretching any of our erections rings beyond reasonable length brings risk to damaging the elastomer. Please take care of your rings and avoid stretching them beyond the intended use.  Remember this is not a slingshot or a rubber band.

INTERPRETING YOUR DATA

Firmness:

The number of your nocturnal erections and the duration and firmness of your erections are leading indicators of your cardiovascular health or other medical problems. A persistent decrease in rigidity can indicate diabetes, high blood pressure, and clogged blood vessels. Medications for depression, anxiety, sleep, blood pressure, and more can be “cock killers.” Stress, performance anxiety, and obesity can also lead to dysfunction. Cutting back on drinking, recreational drugs, and smoking can help.
If you see a consistent decrease in firmness while using our Tech Ring or in more than three sexual encounters (including masturbation), we recommend seeing a urologist or health care provider for an evaluation. They can help you understand what to do, and our Tech Ring can help you measure if those changes are working.
If you have nocturnal erections that are firm but not when you have sex, you may have psychological ED or performance anxiety. We recommend seeing a sex therapist for this.

Nocturnal Erections: Number, Duration, and Firmness:

These two graphs show an episode of lovemaking at the beginning of the recording and nocturnal erections towards the end. The first graph shows 2 notable (higher than 30%) nocturnal erections, and the second shows 3 notable nocturnal erections. The app will include the duration of all the detected erections.

The third graph shows an episode of lovemaking at the beginning of the recording. It also displays three notable nocturnal erections, with one right when the user woke up from sleep (a case of what most people know as “morning wood”).
The fourth graph shows that even if you can still have sex, a declining number of nocturnal erections or decreased duration can indicate ill health. We recommend consulting a urologist or your primary care physician to determine if there could be an underlying medical reason for this.

Duration of Erections during Sex:

If your erections do not last long enough for sex/masturbation or routinely last less than 5 minutes, this could be due to stress, medications, early-onset diabetes, or cardiovascular disease. If it only happens with a specific or new partner, it could be associated with stress in your relationship. We recommend seeing a urologist if your erections consistently last less than 3-5 minutes or are not long enough to have sex.
If your erections routinely last over an hour, please consult a urologist. An erection that lasts longer than 4 hours can cause damage to the penis and is especially common in men who are young and using medications such as Viagra to improve their sexual function.
